Because I wasn't feeling well and I told them[00:00:41]

I was very cross the real me[00:00:44]

That they just better remember[00:00:46]

What happened to sam the bad cat[00:00:47]

That was left at home and got sick and went p**sy heaven[00:00:49]

It was a very cold clear fall night[00:00:59]

Some snowflakes were falling[00:01:04]

Gee it was so beautiful[00:01:05]

And so I went to get my camera to take some pictures[00:01:07]

And then I was taking the pictures[00:01:10]

But the exposure thing wasn't right[00:01:12]

And I was going to call fred or gerry[00:01:13]

To find out how to get set it[00:01:15]

I was too late[00:01:17]

And then I remembered they were still probably at dinner[00:01:19]

And anyway[00:01:21]

I felt really bad and didn't want to talk to anybody[00:01:22]

But the snowflakes were so beautiful and real looking[00:01:27]

And I really wanted to hold them[00:01:30]

And that's when I heard the voices[00:01:33]

From down the hall near the stairs[00:01:34]

So I got a flashlight[00:01:38]

And I was scared and I went out into the hallway[00:01:40]

There's been all kinds of troubles[00:01:43]

Lately in the neighborhood[00:01:44]

And someone's got to bring home the bacon and anyway[00:01:46]

There were brigid and billy playing[00:01:48]

And under the stair case[00:01:54]

Was a little meadow sort of like the park at 23rd street[00:01:55]

Where all the young kids go and play frisbee[00:01:58]

Gee that must be fun[00:02:00]

Maybe we should do an article on that in the magazine[00:02:03]

But they'll just tell me I'm stupid and it won't sell[00:02:06]

But I'll hold my ground this time I mean[00:02:09]

It's my magazine isn't it[00:02:11]

So I was thinking that as the snowflakes fell[00:02:24]

And I heard those voices having so much fun[00:02:26]

Gee it would be so great to have some fun[00:02:29]

So I called billy[00:02:32]

But either he didn't hear me or he didn't want to answer[00:02:33]

Which was so strange[00:02:36]

Because[00:02:36]

Even if I don't like reunions I've always loved billy[00:02:37]

I'm so glad he's working[00:02:40]

I mean it's different than ondine[00:02:42]

He keeps touring with those movies[00:02:45]

And he doesn't even pay us and the film[00:02:47]

I mean the film's just going to disintegrate and then what[00:02:48]

I mean he's so normal off of drugs[00:02:52]

I just don't get it[00:02:53]

And then I saw john cale[00:02:59]

He's been looking really great[00:03:01]

He's been coming by the office to exercise with me[00:03:02]

Ronnie said I have a muscle[00:03:05]

But he's been really mean since he went to aa[00:03:06]

I mean what does it mean[00:03:09]

When you give up drinking and then you're still so mean[00:03:10]

He says I'm being lazy but I'm not[00:03:14]

I'm just can't find any ideas[00:03:15]

I mean I'm just not[00:03:18]

Let's face it[00:03:19]

Going to get any ideas up at the office[00:03:20]

And seeing john made me think of the velvets[00:03:25]

I had been thinking about them[00:03:27]

When I was on st marks place[00:03:28]

Going to that new gallery those sweet new kids have opened[00:03:29]

But the thought I was old[00:03:33]

And then I saw the old dom[00:03:34]

The old club where we did our first shows[00:03:35]

It was so great[00:03:38]

I don't understand about that velvet's first album[00:03:40]

I mean I did the cover[00:03:42]

I was the producer[00:03:44]

I always see it repackaged[00:03:45]

I've never gotten a penny from it[00:03:47]

How could that be[00:03:49]

I should call henry[00:03:50]

But it was good seeing john[00:03:52]

I did a cover for him[00:03:53]

But I did in black and white and he change it to color[00:03:55]

It would have been worth more if he'd left it my way[00:03:58]

But you can never tell any body anything I've leaned that[00:04:00]

I tried calling again to billy and john[00:04:07]

They wouldn't recognize me it was like I wasn't there[00:04:10]

Why won't they let me in[00:04:13]

Then I saw lou[00:04:18]

I'm so mad at him[00:04:20]

Lou reed got married and didn't invite me[00:04:22]

I mean is it because he thought I'd bring too many people[00:04:25]

I don't get it[00:04:29]

Could have at least called[00:04:32]

I mean he's doing so great[00:04:33]

Why doesn't he call me[00:04:35]

I saw him at the mtv show[00:04:37]

And he was one row away and he didn't even say hello[00:04:38]

I don't get it[00:04:41]

You know I hate lou[00:04:42]

I really do[00:04:44]

He won't even hire us for his videos[00:04:45]

And I was proud of him[00:04:48]

I was so scared today[00:04:56]

There's blood leaking thought my shirt[00:05:03]

From those old scars from being shot[00:05:05]

And the corset I wear to keep my insides in was hurting[00:05:09]

And I did three sets of fifteen pushups[00:05:13]

Four sets of ten setups[00:05:15]

But then my insides hurt[00:05:18]

And I saw drops of blood on my shirt and I remember[00:05:19]

The doctors saying I was dead[00:05:23]

Then later they had to take blood out of my hand[00:05:29]

'Cause they ran out or veins[00:05:31]

But then[00:05:33]

All this thinking was making me an old grouch[00:05:35]

And you can't do anything anyway so[00:05:37]

If they wouldn't let me play with them in my own dream[00:05:40]

I was just going to have to make another[00:05:43]

And another[00:05:46]

And another[00:05:47]

Gee wouldn't it just be so funny if I died in this dream[00:05:51]

Before I could make another one up[00:05:58]

And nobody called[00:06:09]

And nobody came[00:06:17]
