I love thee O Lord my strength[00:00:17]

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer[00:00:20]

My God my rock in whom I take refuge[00:00:24]

My shield and the horn of my salvation my strong hold[00:00:27]

I call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised[00:00:33]

And I am saved from my enemies[00:00:36]

The cords of death encompassed me[00:00:39]

The torrents of perdition assailed me[00:00:42]

The cords of Sheol entangled me[00:00:45]

The snares of death confronted me[00:00:48]

In my distress I called upon the Lord[00:00:51]

To my God I cried for help[00:00:54]

From his temple he heard my voice[00:00:57]

And my cry to him reached his ears[00:01:00]

Then the earth reeled and rocked[00:01:03]

The foundations also of the mountains trembled[00:01:06]

And quaked because he was angry[00:01:09]

Smoke went up from his nostrils[00:01:13]

And devouring fire from his mouth[00:01:15]

Glowing coals flamed forth from him[00:01:18]

He bowed the heavens and came down[00:01:20]

Thick darkness was under his feet[00:01:24]

He rode on a cherub and flew[00:01:27]

He came swiftly upon the wings of the wind[00:01:29]

He made darkness his covering around him[00:01:32]

His canopy thick clouds dark with water[00:01:35]

Out of the brightness before him[00:01:39]

There broke through his clouds[00:01:41]

Hailstones and coals of fire[00:01:43]

The Lord also thundered in the heavens[00:01:46]

And the Most High uttered his voice[00:01:49]

Hailstones and coals of fire[00:01:52]

And he sent out his arrows and scattered them[00:01:55]

He flashed forth lightnings and routed them[00:01:58]

Then the channels of the sea were seen[00:02:01]

And the foundations of the world were laid bare[00:02:04]

At thy rebuke O Lord[00:02:07]

At the blast of the breath of thy nostrils[00:02:09]

He reached from on high he took me[00:02:13]

He drew me out of many waters[00:02:17]

He delivered me from my strong enemy[00:02:20]

And from those who hated me[00:02:23]

For they were too mighty for me[00:02:25]

They came upon me in the day of my calamity[00:02:27]

But the Lord was my stay[00:02:30]

He brought me forth into a broad place[00:02:33]

He delivered me because he delighted in me[00:02:36]

The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness[00:02:41]

According to the cleanness of my hands he recompensed me[00:02:45]

For I have kept the ways of the Lord[00:02:50]

And have not wickedly departed from my God[00:02:52]

For all his ordinances were before me[00:02:55]

And his statutes I did not put away from me[00:02:58]

I was blameless before him[00:03:01]

And I kept myself from guilt[00:03:04]

Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness[00:03:07]

According to the cleanness of my hands in his sight[00:03:11]

With the loyal thou dost show thyself loyal[00:03:15]

With the blameless man thou dost show thyself blameless[00:03:19]

With the pure thou dost show thyself pure[00:03:23]

And with the crooked thou dost show thyself perverse[00:03:27]

For thou dost deliver a humble people[00:03:31]

But the haughty eyes thou dost bring down[00:03:34]

Yea thou dost light my lamp[00:03:38]

The Lord my God lightens my darkness[00:03:41]

Yea by thee I can crush a troop[00:03:43]

And by my God I can leap over a wall[00:03:48]

This God his way is perfect[00:03:51]

The promise of the Lord proves true[00:03:54]

He is a refuge for all those who take refuge in him[00:03:57]

For who is God but the Lord[00:04:03]

And who is a rock except our God[00:04:05]

The God who girded me with strength[00:04:08]

And made my way safe[00:04:10]

He made my feet like hinds feet[00:04:12]

And set me secure on the heights[00:04:16]

He trains my hands for war[00:04:18]

So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze[00:04:20]

Thou hast given me the shield of thy salvation[00:04:24]

And thy right hand supported me[00:04:27]

And thy help made me great[00:04:29]

Thou didst give me a wide place for my steps under me[00:04:31]

And my feet did not slip[00:04:36]

I pursued my enemies and overtook them[00:04:38]

And did not turn back till they were consumed[00:04:41]

I thrust them through so that they were not able to rise[00:04:45]

They fell under my feet[00:04:49]

For thou didst gird me with strength for the battle[00:04:51]

Thou didst make my assailants sink under me[00:04:55]

Thou didst make my enemies turn their backs to me[00:04:58]

And those who hated me I destroyed[00:05:02]

They cried for help but there was none to save[00:05:05]

They cried to the Lord but he did not answer them[00:05:09]

I beat them fine as dust before the wind[00:05:13]

I cast them out like the mire of the streets[00:05:16]

Thou didst deliver me from strife with the peoples[00:05:19]

Thou didst make me the head of the nations[00:05:23]

People whom I had not known served me[00:05:26]

As soon as they heard of me they obeyed me[00:05:30]

Foreigners came cringing to me[00:05:34]

Foreigners lost heart[00:05:36]

And came trembling out of their fastnesses[00:05:38]

The Lord lives and blessed be my rock[00:05:41]

And exalted be the God of my salvation[00:05:45]

The God who gave me vengeance[00:05:48]

Do peoples before me[00:05:50]

Who delivered me from my enemies[00:05:52]

Yea thou didst exalt me above my adversaries[00:05:55]

Thou didst deliver me from men of violence[00:05:59]

For this I will extol thee O Lord among the nations[00:06:02]

And sing praises to thy name[00:06:08]

Great triumphs he gives to his king[00:06:10]

And shows steadfast love to his anointed[00:06:13]

To David and his descendants for ever[00:06:16]
