The ANZAC - Adam Brand[00:00:00]
1914 began he was working on the land with his mum and dad[00:00:27]
He left behind his girl joined up to see the world it made his mother sad[00:00:42]
He made it through the war came back to town[00:00:55]
To help his father work the fields and rebuild his life somehow[00:01:02]
And everybody called him the ANZAC and that's still what they call him now[00:01:09]
He set his mind to stay when his father passed away and the river ran dry[00:01:33]
He said "I'll take care of you mum I've fought before and won we can win this fight"[00:01:46]
All alone he'd work all day until he'd drop until the place got back to best he didn't stop[00:02:00]
There were times he thought he'd been forgotten[00:02:14]
But every night at six o'clock[00:02:21]
They'd stand for that man they called the ANZAC[00:02:27]
And those who gave their lives for us[00:02:35]
They'd stand for that man they called the ANZAC[00:02:41]
For fighting for the land he loves[00:02:48]
At the same time every year we all remember him[00:03:19]
At the crack of dawn we stand as one for all our fallen friends[00:03:26]
So drink to that man we call the ANZAC[00:03:34]
We will remember him[00:03:42]
So stand for that man we call the ANZAC[00:03:48]
And those who gave their lives for us[00:03:55]
Let's stand for that man we call the ANZAC[00:04:02]
For fighting for the land we love[00:04:09]
Let's stand for that man we call the ANZAC[00:04:16]
For fighting for the land we love[00:04:23]
We will remember[00:04:30]
