We have three dogs that love to chew stuff up[00:00:17]

So we're always gettin' them some toys[00:00:21]

And stuffed animals and stuff[00:00:23]

And usually whatever we get is shred to pieces within a couple of days [00:00:26]

And one day I noticed that this stuffed animal that we had gotten [00:00:31]

They had had it for about a week [00:00:34]

Had remained relatively unharmed [00:00:36]

A little bit dirty but it really didn't have any damage [00:00:38]

So I was kind of watchin' them for the next couple of days [00:00:42]

And I noticed that for some weird reason [00:00:44]

This little stuffed animal seemed like they all[00:00:46]

Liked it for some weird reason it was special to them [00:00:49]

Not only did they not chew it up [00:00:53]

They sort of made it seem like it was their baby [00:00:55]

They treated as though it was their own baby [00:01:01]

How strange this is Of all the toys and things that we get for them [00:01:06]

This one it wasn't really any different from the rest [00:01:11]

So some time passed and one day[00:01:20]

I noticed that this box of "big plastic insects "[00:01:21]

That I had been keeping on a shelf in the bathroom [00:01:24]

Had some how fallen down[00:01:27]

And unfortunately it looked as though[00:01:29]

The dogs had already chewed up most of the stuff in it [00:01:31]

The big giant spiders [00:01:34]

Ants and cockroaches and stuff that were in it [00:01:36]

And as I walked around the house[00:01:39]

Picking up the shredded pieces of these plastic insects[00:01:40]

I cam across the baby [00:01:43]

You know their stuffed animal baby [00:01:46]

And there it was just torn to shreds [00:01:49]

Like everything else - all the other stuff [00:01:52]

Finally this one was torn to shreds [00:01:54]

So later on I came across one of the giant grasshoppers[00:01:56]

That for some reason hadn't been chewed up at all [00:02:00]

Not even as much as a small tooth mark [00:02:03]

So I watch and it occurs to me [00:02:07]

That for some reason their affections have changed [00:02:11]

And I can plainly see that instead of the stuffed animal [00:02:17]

The big ol' bug is the new baby now[00:02:22]
