The Lake - Nolwenn Leroy (诺文·列雷)[00:00:00]
Written by:Cécile Léogé/Nolwenn Leroy/Edgar Allan Poe[00:00:00]
In spring of youth it was my lot[00:00:34]
To haunt of the wide world a spot[00:00:38]
The which I could not love the less[00:00:41]
So lovely was the loneliness[00:00:45]
Of a wild lake with black rock bound[00:00:49]
And the tall pines that towered around[00:00:53]
But when the night had thrown her pall[00:00:56]
Upon that spot as upon all[00:01:00]
And the mystic wind went by[00:01:06]
Murmuring in melody[00:01:10]
Then ah then I would awake[00:01:13]
To the terror of the lone lake[00:01:17]
Yet that terror was not fright[00:01:21]
But a tremulous delight[00:01:25]
A feeling not the jewelled mine[00:01:28]
Could teach or bribe me to define[00:01:32]
Nor love although the love were thine[00:01:36]
And the mystic wind went by[00:01:40]
Murmuring in melody[00:01:44]
Then ah then I would awake[00:01:48]
To the terror of the lone lake[00:01:51]
Death was in that poisonous wave[00:01:55]
And in its gulf a fitting grave[00:01:59]
For him who thence could solace bring[00:02:03]
To his lone imagining[00:02:06]
Whose solitary soul could make[00:02:10]
An Eden of that dim lake[00:02:14]
Of a wild lake with black rock's around's you[00:02:48]
And the tall pines that towered around[00:03:00]
No more love no more pain to[00:03:05]
To define[00:03:15]
And the mystic wind went by[00:03:19]
Then ah then I would awake[00:03:22]
An Eden of that dim lake[00:03:26]
An Eden of that dim lake[00:03:30]
And the mystic wind went by[00:03:34]
Murmuring in melody[00:03:37]
Then ah then I would awake[00:03:41]
To the terror of the lone lake[00:03:45]
And the mystic wind went by[00:03:49]
Murmuring in melody[00:03:53]
Then ah then I would awake[00:03:56]
To the terror of the lone lake[00:04:00]
