Heathen Foray - Falkenbach[00:00:00]
In ancient times once rode across the land[00:00:32]
A man unknown on a horse of untold grand [00:00:34]
Adorned his cape by thirty runes of gold[00:00:40]
Of whom the tales since ages unknown told[00:00:43]
The man arrived at the shore of sea[00:01:03]
And gazed onto the nightly sky [00:01:05]
His ears could hear and his eyes could see[00:01:09]
Two ravens dark as night passing by[00:01:13]
In a distance far the thunder sounds[00:01:22]
And lightnings reached the frozen grounds [00:01:25]
His breath ran fast his heart pounded strong[00:01:29]
As the day now came awaited oh so long[00:01:33]
Tears will fall and blood will soon be shed[00:01:42]
When the dawn heralds the twilight of the day[00:01:45]
Then into battle they will ride[00:01:50]
With their swords in hand[00:01:53]
For a heathenish foray[00:01:55]
Countless miles he rode[00:02:13]
Through ice and knee-deep snow[00:02:14]
Over mountains 'till the[00:02:16]
Landscape changed its face[00:02:18]
So he at last arrived[00:02:20]
Where winds blew strong and chill[00:02:22]
Like a welcome to all those[00:02:24]
Who trod this place[00:02:26]
He in cape was wrapped [00:02:32]
And with his hammer 'round his neck[00:02:34]
He forced his way though[00:02:36]
He didn't saw the path [00:02:38]
But he did not rest [00:02:39]
Till he had crossed this land of chill[00:02:41]
And the storm had calmed [00:02:44]
When he stood alone on hill[00:02:45]
His eyes could see the forrest shining bright[00:02:51]
And it's trees reflected solens golden light [00:02:55]
The sound of horns then reached his ears[00:03:00]
To welcome him and take away his fears[00:03:03]
From all their lands the kings they came[00:05:21]
With their retinue of countless men [00:05:23]
And the maiden in full armour[00:05:26]
Sat on their horses [00:05:30]
Winged until the right began[00:05:32]
So he rested a while an recovered from his ride [00:05:39]
The horizon gleamed by the mighty northers light [00:05:43]
And the elder ones sang tales about the past [00:05:47]
Of their ancestors pride [00:05:51]
That will forever last[00:05:53]
As the darkness fell and gone was solens light[00:05:59]
The silence ruled amongst[00:06:02]
The men of heathenpride [00:06:05]
Who gatheren in a mighty battle-line[00:06:08]
And awaited their[00:06:10]
Gods to give the final sign[00:06:12]
Tears will fall and blood will soon be shed[00:06:34]
When the dawn heralds the twilight of the day[00:06:39]
Then into battle they will ride[00:06:43]
With their swords in hand[00:06:45]
For a heathenish foray[00:06:47]
