My God my God why hast thou forsaken me[00:00:34]

Why art thou so far from helping me[00:00:40]

Words of my groaning[00:00:43]

O my God I cry by day but thou dost not answer[00:00:45]

And by night but find no rest[00:00:49]

Yet thou art holy[00:00:53]

Enthroned on the praises of Israel[00:00:54]

In thee our fathers trusted[00:00:57]

They trusted and thou didst deliver them[00:00:59]

To thee they cried and were saved[00:01:02]

In thee they trusted and were not disappointed[00:01:05]

But I am a worm and no man[00:01:09]

Scorned by men and despised by the people[00:01:11]

All who see me mock at me[00:01:15]

They make mouths at me they wag their heads[00:01:17]

He committed his cause to the Lord let him deliver him[00:01:19]

Let him rescue him for he delights in him[00:01:23]

Yet thou art he who took me from the womb[00:01:26]

Thou didst keep me safe upon my mother's breasts[00:01:31]

Upon thee was I cast from my birth[00:01:34]

And since my mother bore me thou hast been my God[00:01:36]

Be not far from me[00:01:42]

For trouble is near[00:01:43]

And there is none to help[00:01:45]

Many bulls encompass me[00:01:48]

Strong bulls of bashan surround me[00:01:50]

They open wide their mouths at me[00:01:52]

Like a ravening and roaring lion[00:01:55]

I am poured out like water[00:01:58]

And all my bones are out of joint[00:02:00]

My heart is like wax[00:02:02]

It is melted within my breast[00:02:04]

My strength is dried up like a potsherd[00:02:07]

And my tongue cleaves to my jaws[00:02:10]

Thou dost lay me in the dust of death[00:02:12]

Yea dogs are round about me[00:02:16]

A company of evildoers encircle me[00:02:19]

They have pierced my hands and feet[00:02:22]

I can count all my bones[00:02:24]

They stare and gloat over me[00:02:26]

They divide my garments among them[00:02:29]

And for my raiment they cast lots[00:02:32]

But thou O Lord be not far off[00:02:35]

O thou my help hasten to my aid[00:02:38]

Deliver my soul from the sword[00:02:41]

My life from the power of the dog[00:02:43]

Save me from the mouth of the lion[00:02:45]

My afflicted soul from the horns of the wild oxen[00:02:48]

I will tell of thy name to my brethren[00:02:53]

In the midst of the congregation I will praise thee[00:02:56]

You who fear the Lord praise him[00:03:00]

All you sons of jacob glorify him[00:03:03]

And stand in awe of him all you sons of Israel[00:03:06]

For he has not despised or abhorred[00:03:10]

The affliction of the afflicted[00:03:12]

And he has not hid his face from him[00:03:15]

But has heard when he cried to him[00:03:17]

From thee comes my praise in the great congregation[00:03:21]

My vows I will pay before those who fear him[00:03:24]

The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied[00:03:28]

Those who seek him shall praise the Lord[00:03:31]

May your hearts live for ever[00:03:34]

All the ends of the earth shall remember[00:03:37]

And turn to the Lord[00:03:40]

And all the families of the nations[00:03:41]

Shall w*****p before him[00:03:44]

For dominion belongs to the Lord[00:03:46]

And he rules over the nations[00:03:49]

Yea to him shall all the proud of the earth bow down[00:03:52]

Before him shall bow all those who go down to the dust[00:03:57]

And he who cannot keep himself alive[00:04:02]

Posterity shall serve him[00:04:06]

Men shall tell of the Lord to the coming generation[00:04:08]

And proclaim his deliverance to a people yet unborn[00:04:12]

That he has wrought it[00:04:15]
