Bob Dylan's 115th Dream (鲍勃·迪伦第115的梦想) - Taj Mahal (泰基·马哈)/The Phantom Blues Band[00:00:00]
I was riding on the Mayflower[00:00:07]
When I thought I spied some land[00:00:09]
I yelled for Captain Arab[00:00:11]
I have yuh understand[00:00:12]
Who came running to the deck[00:00:14]
Said Boys forget the whale[00:00:16]
Look on over yonder[00:00:18]
Cut the engines change the sail[00:00:20]
Haul on the bowline[00:00:21]
We sang that melody[00:00:23]
Like all tough sailors do[00:00:25]
When they are far away at sea[00:00:26]
I think I'll call it America[00:00:29]
I said as we hit the land[00:00:30]
I took a deep breath[00:00:32]
I fell down I could not stand[00:00:34]
Captain Arab he started[00:00:36]
Writing up some deeds[00:00:37]
He said Let's set up a fort[00:00:39]
And start buying the place with beads[00:00:41]
Just then this cop comes down the street[00:00:43]
Crazy as a loon[00:00:45]
He throw us all in jail[00:00:46]
For carryin' harpoons[00:00:48]
Ah me I busted out[00:00:57]
Don't even ask me how[00:00:58]
I went to get some help[00:01:00]
I walked by a Guernsey cow[00:01:01]
Who directed me down[00:01:04]
To the Bowery slums[00:01:05]
Where people carried signs around[00:01:07]
Saying Ban the bums[00:01:09]
I jumped right into line[00:01:11]
Sayin' I hope that I'm not late[00:01:13]
When I realized I hadn't eaten[00:01:14]
For five days straight[00:01:16]
I went into a restaurant[00:01:18]
Lookin' for the cook[00:01:20]
I told him I was the editor[00:01:21]
Of a famous etiquette book[00:01:23]
The waitress he was handsome[00:01:25]
He wore a powder blue cape[00:01:27]
I ordered some suzette I said[00:01:29]
Could you please make that crepe[00:01:30]
Just then the whole kitchen exploded[00:01:32]
From boilin' fat[00:01:34]
Food was flying anywhere[00:01:36]
And I left without my hat[00:01:37]
Now I didn't mean to be nosy[00:01:45]
But I went into a bank[00:01:47]
To get some bail for Arab[00:01:49]
And all the boys back in the tank[00:01:50]
They asked me for some collateral[00:01:52]
And I pulled down my pants[00:01:54]
They threw me in the alley[00:01:56]
When up comes this girl from France[00:01:57]
Who invited me to her house[00:01:59]
I went but she had a friend[00:02:01]
Who knocked me out and robbed my boots[00:02:03]
And I was on the street again[00:02:05]
Well I rapped upon a house[00:02:07]
With the US flag upon display[00:02:08]
I said Could you help me out[00:02:09]
I got some friends down the way[00:02:11]
The man says Get out of here[00:02:13]
I'll tear you limb from limb[00:02:15]
I said You know they refused Jesus too[00:02:17]
He said You're not Him[00:02:19]
Get out of here before I break your bones[00:02:20]
I ain't your pop [00:02:23]
I decided to have him arrested[00:02:24]
And I went lookin' for a cop[00:02:26]
I ran right outside[00:02:35]
And I hopped inside a cab[00:02:37]
I went out the other door[00:02:38]
This Englishman said Fab[00:02:40]
As he saw me leap a hot dog stand[00:02:41]
And a chariot that stood[00:02:44]
Parked across from a building[00:02:45]
Advertising brotherhood[00:02:47]
I ran right through the front door[00:02:49]
Like a hobo sailor does[00:02:50]
But it was just a funeral parlor[00:02:52]
And the man asked me who I was[00:02:54]
I repeated that my friends[00:02:56]
Were all in jail[00:02:57]
With a sigh he gave me his card[00:02:58]
He said Call me if they die[00:03:00]
I shook his hand and said goodbye[00:03:03]
Ran out to the street[00:03:04]
When a bowling ball came down the road[00:03:06]
And knocked me off my feet[00:03:08]
A pay phone was ringing[00:03:10]
It just about blew my mind[00:03:11]
When I picked it up and said hello[00:03:13]
This foot came through the line[00:03:15]
Well by this time I was feed up[00:03:23]
At trying to make a stab[00:03:25]
At bringin' back any help[00:03:27]
For my friends and captain Arab[00:03:28]
I decided to flip a coin[00:03:30]
Like either heads or tails[00:03:32]
Would let me know if I should go[00:03:34]
Back to the ship or back to jail[00:03:36]
So I hooked my sailor suit[00:03:37]
And I got a coin to flip[00:03:39]
It came up tails it rhymed with sails[00:03:41]
So I made it back to the ship[00:03:43]
Well I got back and took[00:03:44]
The parkin' ticket off the mast[00:03:46]
I was ripping it to shreds[00:03:48]
When this coast guard boat went past[00:03:50]
They asked me my name[00:03:52]
And I said Captain Kidd[00:03:53]
They believed me but[00:03:55]
They wanted to know[00:03:56]
What exactly that I did[00:03:57]
I said for the Pope of Eruke[00:03:58]
I was employed[00:04:00]
They let me go right away[00:04:02]
They were very paranoid[00:04:03]
Well the last I heard of Arab[00:04:13]
He was stuck on a whale[00:04:14]
That was married[00:04:16]
To the deputy sheriff of the jail[00:04:17]
But the funniest thing was[00:04:19]
When I was leavin' the bay[00:04:21]
I saw three ships a sailin'[00:04:23]
There were all heading my way[00:04:25]
I asked the captain what his name was[00:04:27]
And how come he didn't drive a truck[00:04:29]
He said his name was Columbus[00:04:30]
I just said Good luck[00:04:32]
