The Latter Days - Frontier Ruckus[00:00:00]
My family does own some land[00:00:12]
Where the river is wide[00:00:15]
At night I see my memories[00:00:18]
Dimly dying on the other side[00:00:22]
I know that I am now[00:00:25]
All bitterness and tart[00:00:27]
Anatomy to me is a homesick[00:00:31]
Stomach and a broken heart[00:00:36]
You rest-stops in the midnight[00:00:52]
Are like friends I've worn to bone[00:00:55]
I only notice that you're glowing[00:00:58]
When I'm feeling so ever alone[00:01:01]
Drunken with the children[00:01:05]
Now too many times to complain[00:01:06]
Trustful was the mouth I turned[00:01:10]
Into a lustful sopping hole and[00:01:13]
Now it's nothing but a bathtub drain[00:01:16]
The Latter-Days are harder[00:01:44]
Than I ever could've known[00:01:47]
Come back to retrieve me[00:01:50]
Sometime soon[00:01:52]
If the Latter-Days are ending[00:01:59]
Then I hope I'm ending too[00:02:02]
And buried someplace where[00:02:05]
Your breath tastes new to me and[00:02:07]
Always blowing [00:02:10]
So my body's bent and bowing[00:02:11]
Deep into the day's ending in summer[00:02:14]
The Latter-Days are always panting like a[00:02:22]
Second-Comer[00:02:27]
All the fleshy statues of[00:02:28]
The city-square goodbyes[00:02:31]
Are flinging smoothe-skin[00:02:34]
Trinities and nakedness[00:02:36]
Up into my eyes[00:02:39]
Naked swan-necked girls [00:02:41]
Your arching backs into the sun[00:02:43]
The highway ditch's[00:02:46]
Black clouds split the median and[00:02:48]
Breathing in of all[00:02:51]
The ribs of every bathing one[00:02:53]
And in those trash-pit-ponds you bathe and[00:03:20]
Oh how you all gleam[00:03:23]
Mindlessly bright where you're wet in[00:03:26]
Your eye-lashing fluid-splashing [00:03:29]
Rapid-flashing[00:03:32]
Canal-bleaching dream[00:03:33]
For me[00:03:38]
For me[00:03:44]
For me[00:03:50]
For me[00:03:56]
