Dreaming Of A Little Cabin - Mac Wiseman/Earl Scruggs[00:00:00]
In dreams of yesterday I wandered[00:00:18]
Back to my little cabin door[00:00:23]
I strolled beside an old rock garden[00:00:28]
And saw familiar scenes once more[00:00:32]
I heard the organ softly playing[00:00:37]
It's music came so sweet and low[00:00:42]
And I heard my mother sweetly singing[00:00:46]
As oft I did so long ago[00:00:51]
I heard her sing the rock of ages[00:00:56]
And silver threads among the gold[00:01:00]
She told me once again of Jesus[00:01:05]
Within that little cabin fold[00:01:10]
She opened up her faded Bible[00:01:15]
Where the family records used to be[00:01:19]
And I knew it was the same sweet mother[00:01:24]
That years ago had cradled me[00:01:29]
I was dreaming of a little cabin[00:02:11]
And I heard somebody call my name[00:02:16]
I looked and saw a sweet old lady[00:02:21]
And it seemed I was a child again[00:02:25]
She gently put her arms around me[00:02:30]
And kissed her little boy once more[00:02:35]
And I knew it was the same sweet mother[00:02:40]
That had kissed me many times before[00:02:44]
