[00:01:17] And there she'd stand a crying in the dawn as I was leaving

[00:01:27] When he offered me his only daughter

[00:01:32] To take her off across the water

[00:01:50] One day with father on his tractor and mother off again
[00:01:55] I go to find the mayor and work out what I can
[00:01:59] But he is not at his office he is not at his home
[00:02:04] When I find him in the countryside he is not alone
[00:02:09] He is holding a woman and imagine my surprise
[00:02:14] As she jumps back from his arms I look into my mother's eyes
[00:02:27] All my thoughts of outrage embarrassment and pain
[00:02:31] Were washed away by what came roaring through my brain
[00:02:36] The mayor's at my mercy and I hear my own voice say
[00:02:40] Your run for re-election sir is just one month away
[00:02:48] And the world will never know of what I've seen here sir

[00:04:16] The mayor takes his family on a month long foreign vacation

[00:07:00] It hits me like a thunderbolt exploding in my mind
[00:07:07] As I look into his leering aged wrinkled mirror of my own face
