I hope this letter finds everybody well and happy[00:00:13]

As for me I'm fine I guess I'm just a little lonesome[00:00:17]

I got to Nashville OK[00:00:23]

I thought I'd better write and let you know[00:00:25]

Cause I knew you'd be worried about me[00:00:27]

And I don't let you know to worried about me[00:00:30]

Cause I'm gonna be alright[00:00:31]

Once I get settled and used to bein' away from home[00:00:33]

I didn't realize how much I loved you[00:00:36]

And all them noisy kids until I left[00:00:39]

And I didn't reaize how hard it was to eave home eiter[00:00:42]

Till I started to leave and everybody started cryin' includin' me[00:00:45]

I cried almost all the way to Nashville[00:00:50]

And I wanted to turn around a few times and come back[00:00:53]

But you know how bad I've always wanted to go to Nashville[00:00:56]

And be a singer and songwriter[00:00:59]

And I believe that if I try long enough[00:01:01]

And hard enough that someday I'll make it[00:01:03]

Don't worry about tryin' to send me any money or anything[00:01:06]

Cause I've got a job singin' on the early morning television show[00:01:09]

Here called the Eddie Hill Show[00:01:12]

And a couple of folks already told me[00:01:14]

That they might record a couple of my songs[00:01:16]

So I'll be makin' enough money to get by[00:01:18]

And I don't want you to worryin' about me bein' hungry or anything[00:01:20]

Nashville's not exactly what I thought it was gonna be[00:01:25]

But I believe I'm gonna like it here once I get used to it[00:01:28]

And I don't want you to worryin' about me gettin' in trouble either[00:01:32]

Cause I'll be good just like I promised you I would when I left[00:01:35]

Well can't think of anything else to say[00:01:39]

I guess I'd better close for now[00:01:42]
