There was a massive rock[00:00:05]

There was a tiny flake of snow[00:00:08]

The snowflake began examining the surrounding universe[00:00:10]

Nearby he saw a sparkling icicle[00:00:14]

Wow it must be quite amazing to be a giant icicle[00:00:17]

Said the snowflake[00:00:22]

The icicle did appear to be amazingly immense[00:00:23]

It must surely give the icicle[00:00:27]

Tremendous confidence to be such a dazzling[00:00:28]

Substantive creature[00:00:31]

The snowflake continued[00:00:33]

Looking to see what surrounded him[00:00:34]

He next caught sight of a snowman[00:00:36]

The snowflake said[00:00:38]

I wonder what it feels like to be[00:00:40]

Such a creature as a snowman[00:00:41]

The snowflake continued to look around him[00:00:44]

Soon he spied a frozen spring[00:00:46]

Emerging from one of the mountain's[00:00:49]

Now certainly it must be very grand to be as important[00:00:52]

As a spring said the snowflake[00:00:55]

All of this observing had left the[00:00:57]

Snowflake a bit confused[00:00:59]

Now that he'd spent some time observing[00:01:01]

His world he wondered if perhaps he was[00:01:03]

No more than an insignificant speck[00:01:05]

He said what am I next to say a frozen mountain[00:01:07]

Spring a snowman or even an icicle[00:01:10]

How can a little bit of snow like me possibly stay up[00:01:13]

Here without shame among all of these other[00:01:18]

More grand and important creations[00:01:20]

The snowflake could find no happy note[00:01:22]

In his pondering he said[00:01:24]

Anyone looking up at this mounrain[00:01:26]

Can see all the rest of the[00:01:28]

Magnificent creatures that live here[00:01:29]

But they won'tbe able to see me from down the mountain[00:01:31]

It really isn't right[00:01:34]

Such an insignificant scap of snow as I am[00:01:36]

Has no right to such dizzy[00:01:39]

Glorious heights[00:01:40]

Why it would be no more than I deserve[00:01:41]

If the sun wouldn't burn me[00:01:44]

With a single flare of his golden rays[00:01:46]

Who am I to think above this[00:01:48]

I'll escape the sun's anger by going[00:01:51]

Down to a level more fitting for something as[00:01:53]

Small and inconsequential as I am[00:01:55]

Having said all off this the little flake of snow tried[00:01:58]

To throw himself from the massive rock[00:02:01]

The snowflake was unable to budge[00:02:03]

I can't even move myself down the mountain[00:02:06]

I really am not good for much said the snowflake[00:02:08]

But the snowflake was determined with a great[00:02:12]

Effort rolled down from the mountain peak[00:02:15]

Then an interesting thing began to[00:02:17]

Happen the farther[00:02:19]

He rolled the bigger he became[00:02:20]

Soon he wasn't so small anymore[00:02:23]

He has become a great snowball he continued to roll[00:02:25]

Turning into a huge thundering avalanche[00:02:29]

Finally the avalanche was at least as vast[00:02:32]

As the hill beneath it[00:02:34]

And so in the summer this tiny flake[00:02:36]

Was the last of the snows to melt in the sun[00:02:38]

In life one never knows how things will turn out[00:02:41]
