And Death Shall Have No Dominion - Richard Burton[00:00:00]
And death shall have no dominion [00:00:01]
Dead man naked they shall be one[00:00:05]
With the man in the wind and the west moon;[00:00:07]
When their bones are picked[00:00:10]
Clean and the clean bones gone [00:00:11]
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;[00:00:14]
Though they go mad they shall be sane [00:00:18]
Though they sink[00:00:21]
Through the sea they shall rise again;[00:00:22]
Though lovers be lost love shall not;[00:00:24]
And death shall have no dominion [00:00:29]
And death shall have no dominion [00:00:32]
Under the windings of the sea[00:00:35]
They lying long shall not die windily;[00:00:38]
Twisting on racks when sinews give way [00:00:42]
Strapped to a wheel [00:00:44]
Yet they shall not break;[00:00:46]
Faith in their hands shall snap in two [00:00:47]
And the unicorn evils run them through;[00:00:49]
Split all ends up they shan't crack;[00:00:52]
And death shall have no dominion [00:00:56]
And death shall have no dominion [00:01:00]
No more may gulls cry at their ears[00:01:03]
Or waves break loud on the seashores;[00:01:06]
Where blew a flower may a flower no more[00:01:09]
Lift it's head to the blows of the rain;[00:01:12]
Though they be mad and dead as nails [00:01:15]
Heads of the characters hammer through daisies;[00:01:19]
Break in the sun till the sun breaks down [00:01:22]
And death shall have no dominion[00:01:28]
