When We Were Trespassers - Josephine[00:00:00]
Written by:Josephine Oniyama/Ed Harcourt/Leo Abrahams[00:00:01]
I went pass that house today[00:00:12]
One with pictures on the walls of skeletons[00:00:16]
They have painted over them with cow suving[00:00:21]
To keep watching children's eyes at thee[00:00:27]
We had free reign but nowhere to go[00:00:33]
I think those walls hold on the answers[00:00:39]
And when we were trespassers life was so easy[00:00:44]
We knew we could always leave[00:00:49]
But now that I'm older I need a reminder[00:00:54]
To feel that I don't have to stay[00:00:59]
Give me something bad to look at[00:01:05]
Now that I'm good[00:01:11]
Bring back dust from that old place[00:01:15]
Put it under my skin[00:01:20]
We have free reign bu nowhere to go[00:01:45]
I think those walls hold on the answers[00:01:50]
And when we were trespassers life was so easy[00:01:54]
We knew we could always leave[00:01:59]
And now that I'm older[00:02:04]
I need a reminder to feel that I don't have to stay[00:02:06]
And now that I'm older I need a reminder[00:02:13]
To feel that I don't have to stay[00:02:18]
