I got a call from my girl's people[00:02:20]

Saying she's in labor in the hospital right now 9th floor[00:02:22]

I get on the elevator[00:02:26]

Elevator stops on the 5th floor[00:02:27]

Elevator opens up[00:02:29]

My uncle's standing there crying[00:02:30]

Now I'm caught off guard I'm like what the f**k[00:02:32]

My uncle standing there like Ryan they that way[00:02:35]

I walk out I see my momma and that entire side of my family[00:02:38]

Looking like there's some kind of drama happenin'[00:02:41]

I said what happened[00:02:43]

They like Granny's been in a bad accident and it ain't looking good[00:02:44]

I'm having a baby four floors up[00:02:49]

Before I froze up[00:02:50]

To ride in this emotionally roller coaster[00:02:55]

Get to my girl she 5 centimetres dilated so I waited[00:03:05]

She got to get to 'bout nine 'til it's that time[00:03:09]

And meanwhile I'm more popular in this hospital than the doctors[00:03:11]

Nurses watching whispering like that's the one right there[00:03:14]

Who got a lady in labor 9 and another lady dying on 5[00:03:17]

Somebody had to remind me[00:03:25]

I get to skatin'[00:04:05]

As soon as I get to the hospital[00:04:06]

They tell me that my Granny didn't make it[00:04:08]

She just died I'm feelin' helpless it hurt me[00:04:10]

On the flip side my little boy is healthy in the nursery[00:04:12]

I picked him up looked in his eyes for the first time and just cried[00:04:15]

I said I love you Granny and looked to the sky[00:04:21]

Like even though he just got here goodbye[00:04:23]

I mean aside from meetin' my man Marshall[00:04:38]

My son bein' born and my Granny dying on the same day[00:04:42]

My grandma didn't live anywhere near that hospital[00:04:45]

I learned a lot this day[00:04:48]

I learned that the universe has this way of balancing itself out[00:04:50]

For me to lose such a beautiful soul in my Granny[00:04:54]

And gain such a beautiful soul with my first born son little Royce[00:04:57]

It showed me that God is real[00:05:01]
