Be weird but um[00:02:36]

I actually this this is kinda[00:02:37]

Strange but I actually came up with the[00:02:39]

Melody and ideas for this song[00:02:41]

In math class in my freshman year[00:02:42]

Of high school[00:02:44]

Now I feel old[00:02:45]

And um I was sitting there and was kind[00:02:48]

Of started singing it to myself[00:02:50]

And you know[00:02:51]

I was going through a period where[00:02:52]

I was dating this guy that was going[00:02:54]

Off to college and I knew we were gonna break up[00:02:56]

So I started to think about all the things that[00:02:58]

I knew would remind him of me[00:03:00]

And it's like kinda a given one of[00:03:01]

All my friends ya know[00:03:04]

That my favorite songs are[00:03:05]

Tim McGraw songs they just are[00:03:07]

And uh you know so I kinda just thought[00:03:11]

About that first and so it pointed to[00:03:13]

The song and just sat down at that piano[00:03:16]

And wrote it with this co writer who was[00:03:17]

Kinda wondering if I was crazy or not but[00:03:20]

It turned out alright and ya know[00:03:22]

The funny thing is that[00:03:24]

I shelved this song for like three[00:03:25]

Months and never never even played it for anybody[00:03:26]

Never even demoed it[00:03:29]

And uh then one time[00:03:30]

I was just goofing around and played[00:03:32]

It for my record label president and he goes[00:03:34]

Well that's your first single[00:03:36]

And I'm like well[00:03:39]

Well you can write songs about me anytime Taylor[00:03:40]

That's awesome there's a part two coming out next month[00:03:43]
