Another is to prevent the spread of HIV from mother [00:00:31]

Activities will depend on the needs of each country. [00:00:37]
In some cases, anti AIDS drugs will be provided to [00:00:40]
infected parents or children. [00:00:44]
Women and children living in rural communities will [00:00:47]
receive most of the services. [00:00:50]
Both UNICEF and Family Health International will expand [00:00:53]

Family Health international has been working on public [00:01:02]
health issues since 1971.The organization is based in [00:01:04]
North Carolina and has programs in 70 countries. [00:01:09]
It does research on infectious diseases and reproductive [00:01:14]
health, and also provides services. [00:01:18]
Experts say an important part of fighting AIDS is [00:01:21]
political will. One example they point to is Cambodia. [00:01:24]
That country has been getting attention for its progress [00:01:30]
in reducing some of the highest infection rates in Asia. [00:01:33]
Experts praise the government for supporting public [00:01:37]
education efforts and programes. [00:01:40]
