And the song is called Mononucleosis[00:00:10]

My daughter I talked to her [00:00:14]

And she said all the kids in her school [00:00:16]

There were a hundred kids in her junior high school[00:00:17]

Who had it [00:00:19]

And they think it's a real good subject for a song [00:00:20]

And that's why I originally wrote it was[00:00:23]

That she had come home[00:00:24]

With this mononucleosis about six months ago[00:00:25]

She's thirteen [00:00:27]

And then Life magazine came out a month or so[00:00:29]

Later with an article on[00:00:33]

It that explained that it was the kissing disease [00:00:34]

So I put those two facts together [00:00:36]

I'm a very you know thrilling detective [00:00:38]

And I was wondering well you know [00:00:41]

I'm [00:00:43]

I guess I'm old-fashioned because about six months ago[00:00:43]

She got one of those learner's brassieres[00:00:46]

Well actually she's learning real good[00:00:56]

If you want to know [00:00:57]

I mean the first couple of weeks[00:01:00]

It used to slide down and dangle[00:01:02]

Around her ankles and trip her [00:01:03]

But she's really getting the hang of it now [00:01:06]

Anyway so I dedicated this song sort of to her[00:01:14]

Because of the curiosity that was aroused in my mind[00:01:18]

By these two things happening at once [00:01:21]

And it goes like this[00:01:27]

We don't have any arrangement of it [00:01:28]

They're just kinda faking it [00:01:29]

And we'll just try it [00:01:30]

If it works we'll stick it on the album [00:01:31]

If not I'll just kill myself [00:01:32]
