They called themselves the Dream Team[00:01:24]

And their game was basketball [00:01:26]

The center a massive collection of bones[00:01:32]

Was known by the nickname of Skyscraper Jones[00:01:34]

The forwards were both brilliant ball handlers too[00:01:41]

Named Kangaroo Carson and Dead-Eye McGoo[00:01:44]

The guards were two giants who played with great cool[00:01:51]

The Jacksons will beat you and save basketball [00:02:40]

A laugh roars up on the Dream Team's side[00:02:48]

And they laughed so hard that they nearly cried[00:02:50]

And every time that the Dream Team scored[00:03:50]

The Dream Team wanted to hide[00:04:11]

They couldn't believe it was happening[00:04:14]

But the score was really tied [00:04:16]

The whistle blew for the second half[00:05:50]

The excitement filled the place [00:05:52]

As they stood there face to face [00:05:56]

They moved with dazzling speed[00:06:01]

But the two teams seemed so evenly matched[00:06:04]

Neither one could hold the lead [00:06:07]

With 15 seconds left in the game[00:06:09]

The Dream team led by one [00:06:11]

They knew if they could freeze the ball[00:06:13]

The Jacksons would be done [00:06:16]

Just then the four young Jackson boys[00:06:18]

Began to moan and groan[00:06:21]

They dropped to the ground with bellyaches[00:06:23]

Leaving Jackie standing alone [00:06:25]

It looks like the Jacksons are sunk [00:06:35]

The ref called time to remove the boys[00:06:37]

"Game's over " he said "You're through "[00:06:40]

But Jackie said "Look I'll play myself[00:06:42]

If that's what I have to do "[00:06:44]

So the ref gave Jackie the ball and said:[00:06:47]

"There's time for one more play "[00:06:49]

And Jackie said "Well that's all I need [00:06:51]

I know I'll find a way "[00:06:54]

Jackie took the ball and started out[00:06:57]

Way at the end of the court [00:06:59]

But he still had to get past five of the best[00:07:01]

Who ever played the sport [00:07:04]

As the clock kept ticking the seconds away[00:07:06]

No mistake could he afford[00:07:08]

But he went all the way with a brilliant display[00:07:10]

And as the buzzer went off he scored [00:07:13]

All the fans in the stands went wild[00:07:19]

When Jackie won the game[00:07:21]

And the Dream Team said he played so well[00:07:24]

He belonged in the Hall of Fame [00:07:26]

So the Jackson 5 ended up on top[00:07:31]

And we thank them one and all[00:07:36]

For not only did they beat the best[00:07:39]

They also saved the game of basketball[00:07:42]
