Once a little sugar ant made up his mind to roam[00:00:00]
To fare away far away far away from home[00:00:07]
He had eaten all his breakfast and he had his ma's consent[00:00:14]
To see what he should chance to see and here's the way he went[00:00:22]
Up and down a fern frond round and round a stone[00:00:30]
Down a gloomy gully where he loathed to be alone[00:00:34]
Up a mighty mountain range seven Inches high[00:00:38]
Through the fearful forest grass that nearly hid the sky[00:00:42]
Out along a bracken bridge bending in the moss[00:00:46]
Till he reached a dreadful desert that was feet and feet across[00:00:51]
'Twas a dry deserted desert and a trackless land to tread[00:00:57]
He wished that he was home again and tucked up tight in bed[00:01:05]
His little legs were wobbly his strength was nearly spent[00:01:14]
And so he turned around again and here's the way he went[00:01:23]
Back away from desert lands feet and feet across[00:01:32]
Back along the bracken bridge bending in the moss[00:01:36]
Through the fearful forest grass shutting out the sky[00:01:40]
Up a mighty mountain range seven Inches high[00:01:44]
Down a gloomy gully where he loathed to be alone[00:01:48]
Up and down a fern frond and round and round a stone[00:01:52]
A dreary ant a weary ant resolved no more to roam[00:01:58]
He staggered up the garden path and popped back home[00:02:05]
